Each year, Two River Theater, leads One Book, One Community, a town-wide program of mostly FREE family friendly events all over Monmouth County!
Events include book readings, movie showings, arts & crafts and more, surrounding Kenneth Grahame's book and Two River Theater's production of A Wind in the Willows Christmas.

Open Rehearsal

Scout Day
December 14; 12pm performance with backstage tour and activities pre or post show
Calling all Scouts – go behind the scenes at Two River Theater! Learn about set design, costuming, and lighting, and be rewarded with a special-interest theater patch. It’s a full day of fun! Theater games will be played, snacks enjoyed, photos taken, and following the performance there will be a live Q & A with the cast! Tickets $30. Dia de la Familia
Saturday, December 21at 3pm
Habla Espanol? This is your chance to enjoy our production of A Wind in the Willows Christmas, with live Spanish-language translation via headsets! Come one hour prior to the 4pm show for refreshments, face painting, crafts & theater games! Spanish speakers & bi-lingual signage will be present during this performance.

American Sign Language Interpretation
December 19 at 7pm
A scheduled American Sign Language interpreted performance for patrons with hearing loss, and fluent in ASL, is offered during our Family Theater production. Theatrical interpreters stand near the stage translating the dialogue into ASL. For best viewing, please inform the box office that you are interested in this service when ordering tickets. Discount tickets are available to patrons benefiting from this service.

Creation Station
Explore your artistic side & get your artwork displayed at Two River Theater! Coloring stations are open before the show and during the intermission of every performance. Each piece of artwork will be displayed in the Two River lobby during the run of A Wind in the Willows Christmas!
Q & A with the Actors
Do your kids have a lot of questions? This is their chance to ask them…and better yet, they get to ask them of our fabulous cast of actors! A Q&A with the company will follow every single performance of A Wind in the Willows Christmas!
